UPPSC News-Prelims Exam 2020: 18,000+ Candidates Fail to Fill Form Correctly: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has been notified to fill out the vacancy of PCS officers. In a bizarre incident, more than 18,000 aspiring PCS officers in Uttar Pradesh failed to properly fill in and submit their recruitment exam forms correctly.


UPPSC Prelims Exam Dates 2020

Initially, the deadline to apply for the examination was 21 May, which was extended to 4 June.

Recruitment exams were expected to take place on June 21, but were postponed until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The new date will be intimated as soon as it has been finalized, UPPSC officials said.

UP-PCS Incorrect Form Details: Out of a total of more than 5.95 lakh applicants submitting their application to appear in the joint state / upper subordinate services (preliminary) review-2020, commonly known as PCS 2020, held in conjunction with the recruitment review of Assistant Forest Conservator (ACF) and Forest Range Officer (RFO), 18.235 made errors in filling out their online forms, shared Prayagraj-headquartered Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Some have not been able to upload the right size photographs, while many have uploaded their photos upside down. There are still others who have not been able to counter-sign photographs uploaded by them as required, while some have completely failed to upload their photographs, UP PCS officials shared.
